Your purpose is to make things better for having lived. Thats it.

There are no rehersals, no retakes, no do-overs, this is it. Every minute of every day comes once, whatever you are, whatever you do, you have to do it now.
Every theology, every philosophy says the same thing … this is it.
After-life, its after, not a do-over.
Re-incarnation, serial lives, no memory, not a do-over.
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann’d:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

You have to make your difference now.
The purpose of life is to recognise your Creator, the One.

Gary,
Thank you, this means a lot to me.
When I wrote this, I had no idea, and even though it hurts, I still stand behind it.
